Quicaví is a town, located in the Quemchi commune, Chiloé province, Los Lagos region. It is known for its mythology, as it is said that the Cave of the Witches, called Casa Grande, is located here. In other words, the largest of all the existing caves in Chiloé.

Its history dates back to the end of the 19th century, when, according to the story, the largest Association of Sorcerers and Wizards that had ever been seen in the area was discovered.

It is said that in the town of Quicaví (Quemchi commune) there is a cave that is also called Casa Grande. This would be the lair where the Supreme Warlock lives (a king or governor) and it would be protected by the Imbunche.

In it is a series of objects of witchcraft, such as, for example, one that reveals the past, the present and the future, and everything that the Supreme wishes to know. There is also the Macuñg, which is a luminous vest worn by sorcerers at night and used to fly; This one is made of human skin.
The sorcerers, when they want to stay in the dark, they lower their poncho, and if they want light, they raise it.

Others say that there would be the Book or Revisorio, an instrument used to make various exams, and the Chayanco, used to monitor all members of the witch community.
The Cave would have its entrance in a ravine and would measure approximately 200 meters long and would be an underground site with many dependencies.
